How to replace the battery of a Volkswagen Passat

In the video in question, we see how to replace the battery of a Volkswagen Passat car. Get into the vehicle, pull the hood release lever and then open it and secure it in place using the appropriate rod. The battery is located to the right of the engine; press the plastic tab to lift the battery cover and use a socket wrench to remove the negative clamp connected to the battery. At this point, remove the battery protector and continue by disconnecting the positive clamp. Continue by removing the fabric cover around the battery and use an extension and a socket wrench to unscrew the support plate at the base; remove the battery and proceed with its replacement. Remember to connect the positive clamp first and only then the negative one.
