Removing the Door Panel of a Volkswagen Polo

Remove the door panel of a Volkswagen Polo (passenger side). Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a lever or screwdriver to remove the handle cover, unscrew the screws with the screwdriver. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips (using the lever), disconnect the power connectors for the window regulator, the speaker located in the handle, and the tension cable for the door release lever. Finally, remove the panel by hand and lever it off the door.
