Today's information will show us how to perform the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, on a Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the lower plastic panel of the engine; then unscrew the drain plug of the oil pan, letting the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the oil filter using a 13mm socket wrench with extension; replace the cartridge with the new one and screw the filter back on correctly. All that's left is to pour the right amount of engine oil!
