How to remove the steering wheel airbag in the Volkswagen Polo?

In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the steering wheel airbag in the Volkswagen Polo, an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent the accidental activation of the airbag itself. Let's start by going inside the cabin, then remove the upper cover of the steering column and rotate the steering wheel by 90 degrees. Next, locate the hole on the back of the steering wheel itself, insert a screwdriver and release the fastening clip. At this point, all that's left to do is repeat the operation on the opposite side, remove the airbag, and disconnect the connector.
