Engine air filter replacement

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010
Part: Air filter

Using a 15 mm torx screwdriver, remove the 2 lateral fixing screws of the air intake and unhook the fixing clamp of the sleeve. Then unhook the plastic engine cover: there are four pressure anchoring points located at the edges of the cover itself. Then unscrew (without removing) the five fixing screws of the air filter housing cover and remove it from its hinges. Remove the old filter and insert the new one; reposition the cover by first inserting the tabs in the hinge seats and then tighten the fixing screws. Finally, reassemble what was previously removed.

How to deactivate the safe lock on a Volkswagen Golf.

The safe lock is indeed an anti-theft system that prevents thieves from accessing the car. This device locks the doors, both externally and internally, when the driver activates the central locking remote control after leaving the vehicle. To permanently disable it, it is necessary to use a diagnostic program such as VCDS that we will connect to the vehicle through the ODBII port. Then wait for the connection and recognition of the control unit and then select the blocks present and locate the safe lock to disable it. And the job will be completed.
