Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

Open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover located directly above the engine: you need to disconnect the intake duct and the connecting hose to the mass air sensor; the engine air filter is contained within this cover: unscrew the fixing screws of the air filter housing cover and extract the old filter; ensure there are no dirt residues inside the housing and apply the new filter. Proceed in reverse for reassembly. A clean air filter will ensure the correct amount of air intake and a much smoother delivery.
