Learn how to remove the right front door lock from a Volkswagen Golf Mk5: disconnect the battery connectors located in the engine bay, then use a screwdriver to undo the screws in the door space and the screws around the perimeter. Remove the handle, undo the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the panel (externally) from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the lock cable). Remove the lock (as shown in the video) using the appropriate tool; replace the lock and reassemble everything by reversing the steps.
