How to replace the oil filter and engine oil of the Volkswagen Golf 6

The oil change on a Volkswagen Golf model 6 can be done independently with a few simple steps. We open the front hood and unscrew the oil tank cap to pour the pre-change liquid inside. After letting it sit for about 30 minutes in the tank, we lift the car to unscrew the oil pan screw and let the used liquid drain into a container. We place absorbent paper near the oil filter and, using a chain wrench, unscrew the flange by rotating it counterclockwise. We remove the flange and replace the filter. We lower the vehicle to the ground and pour the new motor oil into the tank.
