Learn how to remove the external handle on a Volkswagen Golf 4 door. After removing the door panel: unscrew the retaining pins (of the handle) located above the door (side panel) using a metal key, then use a plastic lever to remove the cover of the handle on the right side. Extract the lock from the door, then pull the handle out from the car's body, compare it with the new handle, and prepare for installation. Insert the new handle with the lock and its cover into the door. Finally, test the correct installation and operation.
