How do you deactivate the alarm of the Volkswagen Passat?

It will be possible to deactivate the alarm of the Volkswagen Passat by first closing all the door locks, pressing the appropriate button located on the driver's door with the key icon. Then you can pull the lever that indicates the closing of the driver's door to open the door itself: now you will need to push this lever back inside and close the door. You will notice that the light next to the driver's lever will not be flashing: this indicates that the door is closed but the alarm is deactivated.
