Replacement of the alternator of the Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 TDI

The main instructions in this guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the alternator of the Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 TDI. First, we open the hood of the car and start disconnecting the alternator belt, loosening the tensioner (disconnecting the various pipes to access it); then we lift the car and remove the lower engine cover, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the lower bolts of the alternator, then remove the intake hose to access the upper bolts. Disconnect the alternator wiring to remove it and replace it with the new original one.
