How to Remove the External Door Handle on a VW Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

Remove the external handle (located on the rear door) of a Volkswagen Tiguan (first series). Insert a suitable metal key into the slot on the door (side panel), then use a plastic lever to remove the cover of the handle located on its right side. Extract the right part of the handle, then pull it out from the car's body; compare it with the new handle and prepare for installation. Insert the new handle with lock and cover into the door. Finally, test the correct installation and operation by manually operating it.
