In this tutorial, we will see how to disassemble the sliding door on the Volkswagen T1 van, a process that is extremely simple and quick. First, let's go to the side where we will be working, then locate the cover of the sliding mechanism, unscrew the corresponding fastening screw located under the handle, and, using leverage along the bottom edge, separate the cover from the body. Next, we open the door and slide it just enough to position the roller at the indicated slot, then gently lift it upwards. At this point, all that remains is to detach the upper internal hinge and completely remove the door.
