How to Remove the Rear Lights from a Volkswagen Polo MK5

Let's see how to remove the rear lights from a Volkswagen Polo MK5 (or 6R): work from the inside of the tailgate; from the back of the light, rotate the wheel that opens a small service hatch. Inside, you'll find a white pin with a spring around it, which is the fastening mechanism. Rotate the pin counterclockwise to unscrew it completely (there isn't much space, so some manoeuvring will be necessary). Once the pin is removed, the light will be unlocked. At this point, gently pull the entire light unit to extract it from the bodywork; disconnect the electrical connector and remove the entire piece.
