How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

The Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Passat can be cleared by turning on the ignition and pressing the OK/RESET button located on the lever to the right of the steering wheel. This will grant access to the menu that appears on the instrument cluster, navigated using the buttons on the same lever. By selecting "Setup" and then "Service intervals", you can access the screen that indicates the miles remaining until the next service. Pressing the OK/RESET button will completely clear the light.
