Operation: How to replace the alternator of a Volkswagen Golf 4 Series

Let's see how to replace the alternator of a Volkswagen Golf 4 Series. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet putting it in safety, locate the battery from the power supply and disconnect the terminals. Unscrew the pins with a socket wrench, (being careful not to damage the cable winding membranes) unscrew all the alternator locking pins (as in the video). Once the disassembly is finished, take it out of the engine compartment. We take the new replacement part and insert it into the suitable housing, screw in the locking pins, then tighten the side pins of the alternator. We check the right voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
