Resetting the Engine Oil Warning Light (Service) on the Volkswagen Golf

The procedure outlined in this guide will allow you to reset the service and routine maintenance warning light for the engine oil change on the Volkswagen Golf. First, get into the vehicle and start pressing and holding the reset button located at the bottom right of the instrument cluster; then turn on the ignition and wait about five seconds before releasing the button, then rotate the left button clockwise, as shown in the video. At this point, check that the service mileage counter has been reset!
