How do you remove the rear seat headrest from a Golf Mk7? This video explains the procedure. First, open the door and enter the back of the car (rear passenger seat), then press the button located under the left rail of the front headrest. Simultaneously, use a plastic lever to press in the slot on the right side of the rail, raising the headrest until it can be removed from the front seat back (repeat the process for the other headrests). To install the front headrest, simply follow the disassembly steps outlined earlier.
