How to replace the headlining on a Volkswagen Golf?

On the Volkswagen Golf, you can replace the headlining by unscrewing the screws and detaching the clips that prevent the removal of the corresponding trim: you will need to detach all the interior light fittings, disconnect their connectors, and remove the corresponding bulbs. Once these elements are removed, you can loosen the screws that secure the handles and completely remove them as well; then, detach the trim from the door pillars and proceed to remove the headlining by extracting it from the boot.
