Lift the car with a jack, remove the wheel, and unscrew the upper bolt of the shock absorber (accessible from the boot, behind the side trim). Below, unscrew the lower pin that secures the shock absorber to the wishbone. Be cautious with the spring: if you do not have a compressor, secure it with a safety strap before loosening the upper nut. Remove the old shock absorber and install the new one, inserting the upper mount with the bearing first. Tighten the upper bolt to the prescribed torque of about 45 Nm, and the lower one to 90 Nm. Refit the wheel and lower the car.
