How to Use the Electric Handbrake on the Volkswagen Tiguan

In this brief guide, you will discover how to use the electric handbrake on the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, get inside the vehicle and start the ignition and the engine. To deactivate the automatic handbrake, simply press down on the button located on the centre console, as shown in the video. Pulling the electric handbrake button will engage it; on the instrument display, you will see the indicator light showing when the handbrake is engaged (it is automatically engaged when the vehicle is turned off).
