Replacing Glow Plugs on VW Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

If you have starting issues, it's best to replace the glow plugs on the Golf. Here's how. Pull the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it. Remove the engine cover panel. Grasp the coil with your hands and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Unscrew the glow plugs with a socket wrench after disconnecting the coils. Take the new glow plug and insert it into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Refit the plastic cylinder head cover panel. Replace all the glow plugs.
