Is the battery in your VW Polo due for a change? Here’s how to replace it in the key. Take the remote and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a lever to separate the two parts of the remote as shown in the video. Separate the plastic parts of the key cover, remove the worn battery from the housing (after separating the two halves of the cover), take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic cover of the remote, insert the metal key back into the cover. Check the correct operation with the dedicated buttons.
