Fuel Filter Replacement

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Diesel fuel filter

The fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle, at the rear left, next to the tank: lift the vehicle and apply suitable axle stands. Unscrew the retaining clip of the filter, disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet pipes by pressing on the retaining tab. Then, fit the new filter, ensuring the fuel flow direction is respected (indicated by an arrow on the filter itself), tighten the retaining clip, and reconnect the pipes. Start the engine to ensure fuel flows correctly through the new filter.
