In this video, we will see how to remove the outer door panel of a Volkswagen Golf mk5. Open the door and unscrew all the screws on the door's body, located on the frames; you will need a screwdriver with a Torx bit. Then proceed to remove the external handle for opening: leverage with a screwdriver to access the two screws; unscrew these and remove the steel wire that operates the handle. At this point, pull the door panel outwards to gain access to the interior and the window regulator.
