How to Remove the Air Control Knobs on a VW Passat

How to remove the bulbs inside the air conditioning knobs of a Volkswagen Passat? Here’s how to do it. Use pliers to grip the air conditioning knob and pull it off. After removing the knobs from the dashboard, replace the bulbs or LEDs with new ones. Carefully extract the small bulb from its housing (be careful not to damage the new bulbs). Remove the other knobs on the centre console and replace any other damaged bulbs. Refit the knobs after replacement. Turn on the instrument panel and the vehicle lights.
