Remove the Seat from the New Beetle

Remove the seat from the New Beetle? Let’s look at how to remove the front seat. Open the front door, move the seat back (using the electric buttons or the handle) and raise the seat base. Next, start removing the rail covers. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolts on the front rail. Move the seat forward using the adjustment buttons and remove the securing pins from the rear of the rail. Finally, disconnect the power connectors for the front seat and remove it (if present). Refit the car seat by following the disassembly steps mentioned earlier. Remember to reconnect the power to the seat.
