How to Remove the Driver's Seat from a Volkswagen New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

Before you begin, sit in the left rear seat of your Volkswagen New Beetle. Start by removing the seat track cover by unscrewing the Torx screw that secures it. Next, unscrew and remove the nuts that secure the front of the seat. At this point, disconnect the electrical connectors of the seat, and then remove the retaining pins. Once you complete this last step, you can remove the seat, successfully finishing the disassembly.
