Removing the Front Seats from a Volkswagen Touran

To remove the front seats from a Volkswagen Touran, first position the vehicle on a flat surface or on a ramp for safe working. Disconnect the battery, as the seats to be removed have airbags. Once done, slide the seat back to its furthest position. This allows you to undo the two bolts found on the seat rails, near the front end. Now, slide the seat forward to remove the cover of the airbag electrical connections. It is located under the outer rail. Undo the screw and, once removed, disconnect the cables. Then, undo the two bolts on the rails at the rear end, and remove the seat from its position.
