Replacing the Windscreen Washer Reservoir on a Passat

Let's look at removing the windscreen washer reservoir and its pump on a Passat. Remove the front bumper to access the reservoir. Disconnect the electric pump from the water reservoir. Once the part is removed, disconnect the power connector and pull it out of its housing. Compare the new part with the damaged one and test its proper functioning. Refit the new part in the engine bay, secure it to the water reservoir, and reconnect the power connector. Remove the screws on the sides of the reservoir (if damaged). Test the reservoir's operation before refitting the bumper.
