Removing the Left Rear Door Panel on a Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 3, A3 - Years 1991-1998

Remove the cover panel from the rear door on a Jetta. Take off the cover panel to replace it or access the interior. Use a trim tool to remove the plastic frame around the release handle. With a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws located in the inner handle and remove it (take off the handle cover). Once all screws are removed, pull the door panel away with your hands, access the interior, or replace the panel (if damaged). Refit all previously removed parts along with the cover panel.
