Replacing Starter Motor on Tiguan

Let's look at replacing the starter motor on a Volkswagen Tiguan. Open the front bonnet and lift it, then identify the parts to remove to access the starter motor. Disconnect the battery power cables, unscrew the securing pins of the air filter housing. Remove all plastics until you reach the starter motor. Disconnect the starter power terminals with pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the pressure of the clips. Detach the unit from its housing after removing the securing screws. Fit the new starter motor, reconnect the power cables, and secure with the associated screws. Start the vehicle and test its operation.
