Replacing the Radiator on a Polo

Need to replace the car radiator? Here’s how to remove it from inside the engine bay. To remove the radiator, you must take off the front bumper, then you can proceed with the disassembly. Remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top, then lift the car on a column lift and loosen the securing clamp of the water hose. Disconnect the various coolant hoses using pliers. Once free from screws and pipes, you can extract the radiator. Install the new part in the engine bay: fit the cooling fans, clamps, pins, and various pipes. Tighten the plastics and front grille securely with a socket wrench. Refill the cooling system with new coolant.
