Replacement of Rear Headlight Bulb

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To replace the rear headlight bulb, you need to disassemble the headlight itself: first, move the carpet covering the headlight housing inside the boot, disconnect the headlight power connector, and unscrew the two 10 mm nuts securing the headlight. Once the headlight is removed from its housing, unclip the bulb holder and replace the blown bulb; if other bulbs appear slightly blackened, it is advisable to replace them even if they are still functioning. Reattach the bulb holder, reposition the headlight in its housing, and tighten the securing nuts, then reconnect the power and the carpet.
