Replacing Number Plate Light Bulb on Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014
Part: License plate light

Remove the number plate light from the rear bumper of a Volkswagen Passat: use a screwdriver to lever at the side of the light. Once the light unit is removed, extract the bulb holder by hand, then disconnect the bulb from it. Fit the new LED bulb (same size and voltage) into the bulb holder, then refit the light unit into the panel of the boot, pressing until the plastic clips lock in place. Turn on the ignition and then the car lights.
