Replacing Radio in Golf 6

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To replace the radio in a Golf 6, remove the plastic trim from above the central console (disconnect the cable). Once the plastic cover is removed, unscrew the securing screws on either side of the radio using a screwdriver. Carefully pull the radio out of its housing, ensuring not to damage the wiring, and disconnect the electrical connectors and the antenna reception cable. If you wish to install a larger screen radio, remove the air control kit. Make any necessary modifications to the plastic of the dashboard as shown in the video. Install the new radio and complete the assembly with the previously removed pieces.
