How to Replace the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf

Before starting, press the silver button located on the top section of your Volkswagen Golf key to open the physical key. Next, pry off and remove the rear cover of the key using a small flathead screwdriver. Once the rear cover is removed, you will access the flat battery, which you need to take out, completing the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key, simply reverse these instructions, and you will have completed the replacement.
