Removing Front Seats on Volkswagen Golf

Remove the two 10 mm bolts securing the lower brackets of the seat, which allow it to slide forwards and backwards. Then, move the seat forward and remove the other two bolts located at the rear of the brackets.

Once done, lift the seat and the small cover underneath it (secured by two clips), then disconnect the connectors. After this, you can remove the seat.

For reinstallation of the new seat, proceed in reverse order. As you can see, this is not a difficult task but requires a bit of time.

The removal of the seat is similar across various car models.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
