Replacing the Battery in a Volkswagen Passat Key

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

Press the side button to extract the emergency manual key from the casing. At this point, remove the small grey cover as shown in the video (if you can't do it by hand, use a small flat-head screwdriver). Using the small screwdriver or any pointed tool, pry at the corners of the casing and remove the cover. Voila! Now you have the remote control battery in front of you. The bulk of the work is done; simply remove it and insert the new one you purchased. As you can see, this is a task within everyone's reach.
