Removing Spark Plugs on a Volkswagen Golf 6 1.4

Replace the spark plugs on your Golf 6 when they are damaged. Here's how to remove them. Lift the engine bonnet and secure it, then disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the engine, and using a screwdriver or pliers, remove the leads from the engine head. Next, unscrew the spark plugs with a socket wrench and pull them out of the head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them into the engine head using the socket extension, tighten them, and reconnect the leads to the spark plugs. Refit the soundproofing panel after all spark plugs have been installed.
