Replacing the Pressure Switch on a Volkswagen Golf 5 Air Conditioning System

The pressure switch of the air conditioning system is clearly shown in the video, and as demonstrated, you need to access it from underneath the vehicle. Disconnect the connector by prying the tab with a small flat screwdriver, then simply unscrew it by hand. Nothing easier, right? Similarly, you can proceed in reverse for reassembly, screwing in the new pressure switch by hand and reconnecting the connector, also by hand. The air conditioning pressure switch protects other components of the system from abnormal pressure values and regulates the condensation pressure. For this reason, the pressure switch is directly connected to the engine control unit or to the dedicated management unit if it is an automatic air conditioning system.
