Replacing the Auxiliary Belt

Replacing the auxiliary belt on this vehicle is extremely simple as the alternator pulley is practically made up of two pieces: just loosen the central nut to separate the two elements that make up the pulley to extract the belt. To allow the removal of the central nut, there is a groove on the back of the pulley where you can insert a screwdriver to lock its rotation; once the pulley is locked, loosen the central nut, remove the front portion of the pulley, and extract the belt. It is also recommended to replace the shims in addition to the belt; carefully tighten the nut and check the tension of the belt.
