How to Install the Alternator on a Volkswagen Beetle

Model: Volkswagen Maggiolino MK 1 - Years 1938-1980

To install the alternator on a Volkswagen Beetle, open the boot to access the components inside. Remove the carburettor to gain access to the generator. Disconnect the connectors and remove the fixing screws to take the generator out of its housing. At this point, install the locking plate at the bottom of the alternator and secure it in its housing in the engine bay. Once correctly installed and connected, reassemble all the other removed parts.
