In today's video, we will cover the main instructions on how to remove the alternator on the Volkswagen Beetle. First, open the rear engine cover and start by removing the intake system, from the hoses to the air filter box; then remove the throttle bodies and disconnect the accelerator cable. Next, disconnect the electrical wires from the ignition coil and remove the crankshaft pulley by unscrewing the nut, taking care with the small key; finally, unscrew the screws of the fan and alternator for removal!
