How to Replace the Remote Battery for a Volkswagen Golf 7

To replace the battery in the remote for the Volkswagen Golf 7, press the button that allows the key to pop out of its housing. Then, use your fingers to pry inside the housing to remove the plastic cover protecting the battery. This can be extracted from its housing using a flat screwdriver. Once the old battery is removed, insert the new one into the designated housing and replace the plastic cover, closing the remote.
