How to Remove the Ignition Switch on a Volkswagen Golf 7?

To replace the ignition switch on a Volkswagen Golf 7, first loosen the screws at the back of the steering wheel to remove the airbag. After disconnecting the connectors, loosen the nut on the steering wheel shaft so that it can also be removed. Next, detach the plastic covers from the upper and lower parts of the steering column to access the ignition switch. Remove the switch from its housing after taking out any obstructing parts and bolts shown in the video. Once the old switch is removed, install the new one.
