To replace the battery in the Volkswagen Golf 7 remote, press the button that allows you to lift the key and lever it out of its housing. This will enable you to remove the front cover, under which the battery is located. The battery must be extracted using a tool and can be replaced with a new spare part. Once the new battery is inserted, close the remote and lower the key back down. After installation, check the remote's proper functioning.
