How to Replace the Battery of the Volkswagen Passat Remote?

To replace the battery of the Volkswagen Passat remote, extract the key from the top and lever with an object inside its housing. This will allow you to remove the cover of the top part of the remote to access the battery; the battery must be extracted from its compartment and replaced with a new spare part. Once the new battery has been inserted into its housing, seal everything by inserting the cover and placing the key back in the top of the remote.
