Replacing the Remote Battery of the Volkswagen Passat

In today's tutorial, you will learn how to disassemble and replace the battery of the key remote for the Volkswagen Passat. First, take your remote and start by removing the plastic rear cover, prying it off from the sides; then remove the battery from its holder, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032); insert it the right way round and reassemble the remote by fitting the rear cover back on until it clicks into place!
