How to Replace the Air Conditioning Compressor of a Volkswagen Golf

To replace the air conditioning compressor of a Volkswagen Golf, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. The compressor is located at the front of the engine bay, directly beneath the dipstick for checking the oil level. To remove it, disconnect the pipes and connectors attached to it and also loosen the mounting bolts of the component. Once these are unscrewed, you can extract the compressor from its housing, replacing it with a new spare part, which must be properly connected and secured.
